Two filmmakers from Stuttgart made this video during their trip to Iceland. They shot it in 4K quality so remember to adjust the quality settings accordingly. Enjoy :)

Places of interest: Gatklettur

Gatklettur(Arch Rock) is found on the hiking path between the small fishing villages Arnarstapi and Hellnar in the Snæfellsnes National park. The coastline has been molded by the sea and waves into peculiar forms and Gatklettur is an example of that. The hiking path is about 2.5 km and on the way you can see huge flocks of birds and remains of the once prosperous fishing village Hellnar.

The special east - horse riding tour

The special east tour combines extremes in landscape. From sea level to mountain tops, from surreal black and white landscape to vibrant colors. From a local music festival in Borgarfjörður to the quiet wilderness of the highlands. This adventure will surprise those who think that they have seen it all. The area has great tolting grounds on riverbanks, old dirt roads and beaches.

The area around Húsey is very spectacular and a "paradise" for nature lovers. Two large glacial rivers flow towards the sea through the wide plain. More then 30 different kinds of birds are breeding here and you will also find around 175 species of plants.  Large numbers of seals travel quite some distance inland where they rest on the riverbanks and sandbanks. In springtime wild reindeers roam around the area and puffins can be seen at Borgarfjörður. We ride some of the historic trails of the postmen and many other brave travellers across mountain passes and deserted fjords.

Don´t forget the camera if you join!

Waterfalls in Iceland seen from a drone

Check out this stunning video of the most popular waterfalls in Iceland. Taken in 2014 by Hailey Keen using a drone to capture a bird eye view. It's in a counter clockwise order going around the country.
